Siesta i Series
Siesta i Series. Dameca a/s introduces the next generation anaesthesia machines, i.e. the Siesta i series. The new units feature integrated gas monitor, new microprocessor controlled ventilator, new user interface through 15-in. TFT touch screen and new Integrated Breathing System.
The Siesta i comes with a new electronic gas mixer with upgradable software and a user-friendly 15–in. colour TFT touch screen. Both ventilator and gas mixer settings are displayed digitally and graphically on the screen, including pressure/time- curve and spirometry loop. The screen offers easy reading of parameters, even in dim lighting.
With the Siesta i, Dameca a/s also introduces the new microprocessor controlled ventilator. The ventilator offers 5 ventilation modes: VCV, PCV, SIMV, manual and spontaneous. An oxygen analyser is built into the ventilator.
An optional multi-gas monitor may also be integrated, measuring parameters such as insp/exp O2, N2O, CO2 and AA as well as respiration rate and MAC. The multi-gas monitor has automatic identification of AA.
The Siesta i introduces the Integrated Breathing System (IBS), which incorporates the following components in one single unit:
- Bag-in-bottle
- Insp./exp. valves
- CO2 absorber
- Manual respiration valve
The bag-in-bottle is designed for adult as well as paediatric/infant use. The extreme compact design of the IBS makes cleaning and disinfecting easier, saving time, and minimising the risk of patient cross contamination.
Siesta i runs an automatic self-test upon start-up, ensuring the integrity of the complete unit and compensates for fresh-gas flow as well as compliance.
