Disposable Laparoscopic Suction and Irrigation Sets. This laparoscopic set has a flow control valve that is ergonomically designed. The smoothly contoured trumpet-style valve fits comfortably in the hand, providing convenient finger control access to the two plunger-type flow controllers. The plunger caps are colourand
contour-coded to provide ready identification of the function accessed. The plunger’s spring return ensures smooth and reliable operation for controlled irrigation and aspiration. The
capped valve port provides access for the removal of tissue samples and specimens exceeding the lumen size of the suction tube.
The 3-m-long suction and irrigation tube consists of two co-joined tubes, but it has the physical convenience of a single tube. Soft connectors provide a sound leak-tight connection, while single or twin irrigation spikes are provided with isolating clamps.
The stainless steel cannulae exist in 5-
mm, 6-mm, and 10-mm outside diameters.
