Optimally designed operating table
Optimally designed operating table. The new Trusystem 7500 operating table has been designed after a detailed market analysis of the company's customers, i.e. physicians, nursing staff and hospital technicians, in order to determine the optimal compromise between incorporating the new features that medical progress requires while maintaining the existing functions that are most appreciated by existing customers. The result was a more flexible, modular table designed with a sharp eye to the needs of the human body and to user-friendly, intuitive operation, while providing

features that put it in an optimal position to meet the demands of the OR of the future. Compatibility between the latest 7500 model and previous tables in the company's range is assured though use of proprietary, mechanical coupling points that enable parts to be added on or put together, so that tables can be shortened or lengthened quickly, and in just a few steps. The new table also meets the need for a lower minimum height and for the additional extreme adjustment positions that are becoming increasingly important, especially in minimally invasive surgery. The table imposes no limits on intraoperative imaging, since carbon plates and components, together with the ability to shift the table lengthwise eliminate the need to transfer the patient to a new bed, allowing the operator to perform intraoperative scans more gently while saving time and money.
