All-digital Cardiac Dedicated Camera. A technologically advanced nuclear cardiology imaging system, the Ventri provides very high image quality for nuclear cardiology studies. Proprietary Elite digital detector technology has one analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) per photomultiplier tube (PMT), providing the information clinicians use to assess the location, extent and severity of myocardial damage caused by coronary artery disease. In addition, the system's robust ring gantry design features a high-precision centre of rotation that maximises tomographic image quality. A unique feature of this cardiac-dedicated nuclear imaging system is its upgradeability potential to a highly advanced attenuation correction system. An optional integrated X-ray tube and CT detector create high-quality attenuation maps that correct for attenuation artefacts. The compact unit is designed to become fully operational after a two-day installation. VentriCare arm and leg supports reduce patient joint strain, allowing for more natural positioning, while small detector heads and a slim gantry give patients a clear view throughout the scan.
