DX-Si Integrated Digital X-ray System. Since June, 2006, the DX-Si integrated digital X-ray system has been in operation at Kliniken Essen Süd, a joint hospital operation run by the Evangelisches Krankenhaus Essen-Werden GmbH and the Katholisches Krankenhaus St. Josef GmbH in Essen, Germany. “We were convinced of the significant benefits of the DX-Si in comparison with conventional systems, particularly in regards to image quality and efficiency in our work,” said Professor Dr Ralf-Dietrich Müller, Chief Radiologist at the Centre for Clinical Radiology at Kliniken Essen Süd. The Centre for Clinical Radiology is a central department of both hospitals and offers a complete range of X-ray services focusing on orthopaedic, rheumatological, surgical, oncological and gastroenterological xaminations and mammography diagnostics.
