Second-generation digital radiography system
comes with a wide range of configuration possibilities
Second-generation digital radiography system. Designed to meet the requirements of general radiography, trauma and orthopaedics, the SyneRAD Omni digital radiography (DR) system functions like a complete traditional radiography room. The Selenium2 detector incorporates next-generation Selenium technology, thereby eliminating the compromises to dose, image quality and workflow that are usually associated with Silicon and CCD technologies. The SyneVu DR console automates all aspects of image acquisition, without sacrificing full manual capability.
Using the extended coverage device and flexible positioning system, even difficult-to-position patients can be examined more easily, keeping the need for retakes to a minimum. Special features, such as the “Set-up Assistant” for manual or automatic positioning, and the ease with which a cross-table lateral exam can be performed, are just some of the work-facilitating advantages offered. A choice of innovative patient tables is available, including an elevating, four-way float table (OmniGlide XE) and a wider table model (OmniGlide Max) for bariatric patients. All tables include a “Rotate & Return” function whereby they can be rotated out of the field and returned to their original position without the need for repositioning.
