Vitalmonitor

Vitalmonitor is an independent sensory hospital bed platform, which scans subtle vibrations caused by bodily activity and patient movements in the bed. Thanks to special algorithms, it can assess these signals and provide real-time data on patient respiratory and heart rates without the use of contact sensors, electrode patches, etc. In combination with the Linis system, it informs personnel on bed brake settings, mattress platform and side rail positions, and even on the presence of the patient in the bed. The system uses wireless technology to communicate with personnel – information from beds equipped with Vitalmonitor is transmitted to a central server by means of a Wi-Fi connection. Caregivers are thus able to monitor all beds from a single location, e.g. from a hospital computer, supported mobile devices, etc.
