MRI-compatible Ventilator. The Servo-i ventilator is now compatible for
use in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
rooms. All patient categories can be treated,
from neonates to adults, and all the ventilation modes of the original system are
also available in this MRI-compatible version.
This advance is an important step forward in
continuity of care, making it possible for a patient to be connected to the same ventilator from the bed in the intensive care unit to the MRI examination and back. A specially developed non-magnetic cart and other non-magnetic mounting solutions for use in the
MRI room will also be available.
